Patrick Joseph Rubino

Pat was born in Chicago, Illinois, graduated from Austin High School in Chicago and the University of Illinois, in Champaign/Urbana.

He married Donna Pope on May 11, 1963. They had two children, Frank and Michele. After starting his career in the Aviation field, he became an instructor of Automotive at Triton College where he retired in 1997.

Pat enjoyed playing cards, bowling and accomplished several 300 games. In later years he became an avid golfer and enjoyed the camaraderie of playing with his friends. But Pat’s greatest joy was always his family, enjoying his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank & Florence Rubino and his sister Dolly Giannetto and is survived by his wife Donna, children Frank Rubino, Michele Rubino, daughter-in-law Donna J. Rubino, grandchildren Rose Claes, Joe Rubino, Nicole Rubino Ramos, and great-granddaughter Nova Ramos.

Celebration of a Funeral Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Celebration, Florida, on August 17, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (SEE LINK BELOW) or to your favorite charity.
