

Born on October 30, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, Phil proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve. After graduating from the University of Dayton, he devoted his professional life to the field of forensic accounting. A Certified Public Accountant, he built a distinguished career that included serving as a Director at Price Waterhouse in New York and later as a Partner at Rosenfarb Winters LLC. In 2009, he founded PMJ Forensic Accounting, where he served as Chief Executive Officer, earning the respect of peers and clients alike.
On May 25, 1968, Phil married the love of his life, Mary Jo, beginning a partnership that spanned 58 wonderful years. Together they built a life centered on family, faith, and community, spending many happy years in Monroe Township, New Jersey, before relocating to Windermere, Florida.
Outside of his career, Phil loved to make people laugh. Through passing down family stories to his grandchildren, getting a twinkle in his eye before telling a joke, or doing whatever it took to win a game of cards, Phil always knew how to put a smile on someone’s face.
A lover of Disney parks and cruises, Phil was happiest spending time with his family, enjoying the Disney magic. He loved his family pets, especially his dog Snickers, who loved to curl up on Phil’s shoulder. For many decades, Phil additionally devoted his time to his love of soccer, influencing generations of athletes by coaching young players, refereeing tournaments, and sharing his love of the game.
Above all, Phil was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Jo (nee Henahan) Kleckner; his daughters, Christine (Jay) Viszoki of New Jersey, Kara (J. Russell) Wray of New Jersey, and Katherine (Mark) Baldridge of Windermere; and his cherished grandchildren, Karalyn, Katelyn, and Jordan Viszoki. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert E. and Mary C. Kleckner, and his siblings, Robert A. Kleckner, Jane C. Patrick, and Richard C. Kleckner.
