Ralph Stahlman, 85, of Winter Garden, Fl, stepped into his heavenly reward in the arms of his Lord Jesus, on Sunday May 28th, 2023. He was born in Greenfield, Missouri, the fourth of fifteen children. He graduated from Gate High school in Oklahoma, in 1956. He went on to attend a few years at Friends University in Wichita Kansas. Growing up, Ralph participated in the 4H club and showed hogs, winning one year with a smaller sized but well cared for piglet. Ralph was a gifted athlete, playing basketball and baseball, and continuing his love into latter years as a Kansas University (KU) basketball, and Kansas City Royals baseball fan.
He met his bride, Ruby Braland at church, when he was recruited to play on the church basketball team. Ralph fully gave his heart to the Lord during his early twenties during a revival with Amos Creel. Ralph and Ruby were married on June 10th, 1961.
Ralph was a small business owner of Grand Tire in Kansas City for many years. His entrepreneurial spirit, honesty, and ability to connect with others made him a perfect fit in the business community. After moving to Winter Garden in 2011, Ralph began working at Publix as a cashier, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. He retired in April 2022.
