Rich was a great guy! I worked with him in dispatch at People Express. He was hard working and a good good friend. He always made you smile!! Our deepest condolences to you all.

My mentor, my hero, my cousin was like a big brother to me. He inspired me in so many ways. His demeanor was Bushido, polite, honorable and disciplined . I always will cherish his connection to Japan with Sachiko, and had hoped to travel with them to Japan someday. He is somewhere with his favorite uncle Mike (my father) I'm sure. Always in my memories, Cousin Michael Angelo Longo, Jr.

The great guy🩷 I will miss him rest in peace🩷

I spent a lot of years working with Rich, at the agency, at Grumman flight test and a few trips to Wash. D.C You can't ask for a better friend , compatriot and partner. Rest in piece my friend.

I am very sadden to learn of Rich's passing. He was such a kind, generous and hard working man who cared dearly for his entire family. Those who met Rich, knew his family well. He would always talk about them and share his pictures. I met Rich in 1974 at the NYARTCC (FAA) only to learn we actually met earlier in Japan as Air Traffic Controllers. He was stationed Yokota AFB and I was in the Navy at NAS Atsugi. For the next 45 years I worked with him at the FAA, the IRS, at NYSDOT INFORM and now in Florida. I will miss you. May the skies eternally shine over you as you watch over your family you cherished. Rest in Peace Rich.

To all of the Wilson family, I would like to send my deepest sympathy and condolences.
When I was worried about my future career path, Richard enthusiastically shared his job experience for me. I remember like it was yesterday. Richard will be missed, and he will always stay close to our hearts. May he rest in peace. Kitaro Sano

I too remember Rich working in dispatch with him; I think only for a few shifts, as fortunes would be I never really had a close relationship with him but found them to be a good man. I don't believe we ever had the pleasure of flying together perhaps on the other side jetstream tailwinds my brother! May God and all his mercy provide closure for his family !!

So sorry to read this - we worked together at People Express as dispatchers
He was always a pleasure to work with and talked about his family often
Rest in Peace Rich - all tailwinds now ✈️

To the entire Wilson Family I would like to convey my deepest sympathy and condolences for your great loss. As family I have many great memories of family celebrations and holidays and gatherings with cousin Richard and you all, his family. I shall cherish them all and pray to God that Richard is resting in peace.

I remember you’re jogging around Stewart circle, and if you spotted me, you’d stop to chat! You always spoke so lovingly about your family, especially your children. To my neighbor for over 52 years, may the angels lead you to paradise. May you rest in peace, and may perpetual light shine upon you. To all of the Wilson family, I send my deepest sympathy! Estelle Beauchamp. 🙏🌹🦋🌈

This is Rob Reitz with IronMen Of God, who meet weekly in Winter Garden, FL. I first met Richard and his son Mark (and Richard's cousin Paul fom NJ) on a Friday morning in May of this year at our IMoG meeting. Richard and I had a wonderful, lengthy chat afterwards and I found him to be a warm and gracious man, VERY proud of his son! I wish I could have known Richard better and feel his family's regard and affection for him. May God bless his wife and family through their time of grief and loss of a truly great man.

I will never forget his kindness.
Please accept my sincere condolences.
