He was born in Miami and graduated from Miami Central High in 1964. He went on to the University of Florida where he graduated in 1970 with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
After graduation he landed an engineering job with Florida Power & Light. He continued there until he retired after 39 years of employment. He was a well-respected and dedicated professional.
He was a loving, dedicated husband and father, with a love of travel, waterskiing, and the Florida Gators. He will sadly be missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. He is survived by his wife Arlene, son Michael & daughter-in law Lynda Steward, his daughter Carrie and son-in-law Joel Valades, and his sister Betty Armacost.
As per his wishes he was cremated, and a small celebration of life was held by his family.
