

Ronald “Ron” Duane Oestreich, 69, of St. Louis, Missouri passed away on September 14, 2014. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 28, 1945, raised by Loretta and August Wright. Ron enlisted in the United States Navy right out of high school and served his country for 4 years. Later in life, Ron became a Computer Programmer and worked for Wang Technology and Ralston Purina. He was married to his wife Anne for 45 years prior to her passing in 2012. Together they raised 3 children, Chad, Elizabeth, and Nicole. Ron was a wonderful father and involved himself with his children’s lives. He served as a Boy Scout Leader and was a coach for his son’s hockey team for many years. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Ron was preceded in his passing by his wife, Anne Oestreich, and son Ron Oestreich, Jr.
He is survived by his children, Chad (Teresa) Oestreich, Elizabeth (Drew) Sloan, and Nicole (Joe) Keune; and Grandchildren Chase, Madison, Brandon, Zach, Kiera, and Mya.
A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held at a later date in St. Louis Missouri at Hoffmeister South Country Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125.
Private Inurnment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
