Shirley was born September 25, 1929 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She started work in her mid-teens at Borchardt field where she met her future husband only 16 years old at the time himself.
Shirley married the love of her life, Bob, on July 23, 1949 and had 71 wonderful years together.
She will be remembered for her loving and caring nature. She was always considerate to everyone and had an easygoing personality. She was happy to “go with the flow”
She loved to cook, bake and always had a smile or hug to give comfort to her family.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob) Schwid. Shirley is survived by her son Steven Schwid (Penny); son Stuart Schwid; and daughter Jaci Schwid (Martin Fontana). She is also survived by her grandchildren Shawn (Jaime), Michelle (Nathan), Amanda (Jonathan), Jen (Andy), Kate (Kevin), Andrew, Aaron (Jessica), Marty, Jr (Tamra) and great grandchildren Carter, Colin, Katlyn, Andy, Jr, Kyler, Nathan, Jr, Martin III, Madelyn, and Millie, and great great grandson Otto Tomson.
