Thomas was born in Chattanooga, TN to Thomas Tomblin Sr. & Grace F. Tomblin on December 8th, 1950. He graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. He was a long-time employee of Sysco Food Services.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Thomas Tomblin Sr. & Grace F. Tomblin, as well as his grandson Liam Thomas Gage.
Thomas is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Brucks of Florida, stepson Michael Gage of Texas, sister Joan Thompson and niece Celia Thompson of Florida, grandchildren Alyssa Tomblin and Christopher Brucks from Florida, Solon, Nicholas, and Corbin Gage of Texas, and great-granddaughter Olivia Perry of Florida.
