

Irwin, Wanda M., 88, beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 18, 2025. Wanda was the beloved daughter of the late Frederick Walters and Lucille Schrum Walters, and the wife of the late Thomas DeWitt Irwin.
Wanda was an active member at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Orlando, participating in church and home Bible studies. She was a Sunday School Teacher for over forty years at the First Baptist Church of Winter Park, FL, as she loved to teach children God’s Word.
Wanda enjoyed playing golf and tennis, painting in mediums of oils and acrylics and most recently enjoyed china painting. She also liked playing bridge and games around the table.
Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Jerry Walters of Waterloo, IL; her four blessed children, Dr. Teresa L. Irwin, of Lake Wales, Lorna Goodfellow, of Winter Garden, Brenda Henderson, of Clermont and Thomas D. Irwin, Jr., of Dawsonville, GA; her special son-in-law, Dr. Steve Goodfellow; her seven grandchildren, Michael Allen, Kyle Henderson, Parker Henderson, Nathan Henderson, Daniel Henderson, Michael Matinchek, and Caitlin Irwin; and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, located at 4917 Eli Street, Orlando, Florida, 32804. The service is scheduled for November 1, 2025, starting at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, Wanda requested that donations be given to the ministry at St. Paul’s Presbyterian in Orlando, 4917 Eli Street, Orlando, FL, 32804.
