William “Bill” Grant, 67 of Ocoee, FL, passed away on December 29, 2015. Bill lived in Chicago for many years where he worked as a Chief Engineer for several buildings in the downtown Chicago area. He retired to Florida in 2010. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he had a smile that would light up a room. He never met a stranger and made everyone feel good when they were around him. He was also a member of Local 399 Chief Engineer’s Union in Chicago, IL. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mildred Grant and by his son, Jason Grant. He is survived by his daughters: Susan (Rod Sells) Grant, Jessica (Brian) Meiresonne; his brothers: Jim Grant and Tom (Pat) Grant; his grandchildren: Sami and Jordan, his nephew Michael and by his niece Denise.
A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held on Sunday, Jan 3 at 2 PM in the chapel of Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Winter Garden. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
