He was born in Walton, Kentucky on June 22, 1930. William married Olive Odene Lavon on June 26, 2010.
William had a career in the military and retired from the US Navy. He was a member of USS Charles S. Sperry DD697 Association, and he had a passion for Christ, fishing, camping.
William is preceded in death by his first wife Maxine Lavon and daughter Linda Howard. He is survived by his wife Olive Odene Lavon, children, Deborah Howell, Michael Lavon, Donna Kundis, Beth Knorr, his brother Robert Lavon, grandchildren, Lori Huffman, Christopher Wilson, Travis Wilson, Vernon Howard, Jeanette Parnell, Stephanie Horton, Alicia Adams. He is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on February 22, 2025 followed by a 11:00am Service at Victory Baptist Church 1601 AD Mims Road, Ocoee, Fl 34761.
