William K Reece, 93, a resident at Golden Pond in Winter Garden, passed away December 14 and will be sorely missed by his wife Polly Reece, his 3 children William Reece, Rita Reece Law, and Rick Reece, his eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his first wife Ruth Reece and three children.
He moved to Florida from northeastern Oregon while proudly serving in the Army Air Corps during WWII. After retiring to North Carolina, he spent hours woodworking and taught his children and grandchildren to craft beautiful wooden bowls out of a block of wood. A man with many talents, he leaves behind a legacy of responsibility, perseverance, loyalty, and love to his family.
