Wilma Irene Nichols, 61, of Winter Garden, Florida passed away on October 6, 2014. She was born to the late James J. and Rosie Lee Smith on November 10, 1952 in Orlando, Florida. Wilma, also known by her middle name Irene, worked as a Deli Clerk with Publix. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and was a great shot in a game of pool. She was free-spirited and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Irene is preceded in her passing by her daughter, Virginia Faye Patterson.
She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Louis Nichols; Daughter Cathy Patterson; Sisters Vera Love (David) and Carolyn Pounders (Jerry); Brothers Jesse Smith (Julia) and Durrell Smith (Judy); 4 Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren; and lots and lots of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Baldwin Fairchild Winter Garden, 428 E Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida 34787. Service will follow visitation at 12pm.
