A devoted homemaker, Dolores also worked as a seamstress at a bridal shop and managed a restaurant alongside her beloved husband, who preceded her in death. She loved fishing and found joy in sharing stories and laughter with those she loved.
She is survived by her children: Mary Beth Ulmer (Jeff), Larry Schmid (Debra), Laura Schmid, and David Schmid (Martha); grandchildren: Eric (Emily), Logan (Amanda), Bethany (Chris), Keely (David), Chris, Dustin, Tyler and Germán (Natalia); and great-grandchildren: Eric Jr., Ethan, Logan, Lucas, Allison, Autumn, Karly, Landon, Rowen, Annaleigh, and Martín. Dolores also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and beloved dog Goldie who will cherish her memory.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
