Doris Jean Tanner Ross, age 88, passed away on April 8, 2022 in Winter Haven, Florida. She was born on August 1, 1933 in Swanton, Ohio to the late John Tanner and Nina Hoy. Doris moved to Florida 62 years ago and retired from the Polk County Public School System. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Ross. She leaves behind her stepdaughter Rosemary Ross of Sevierville, TN and stepson Robert Ross of Tuckasegee, NC along with numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. The family asks that donations be made in Doris’s name to your favorite charity.
