A proud United States Army Veteran, Earl spent many years working as an Ordained American Baptist Minister, where he had the gift to speak prophetically and profoundly into peoples’ lives. He was very devoted to his church ministries, Haiti ministry, family, and friends.
In his spare time, Earl enjoyed being out on a lake or ocean, playing crazy bridge and other card games with friends and family, riding his bike, and ending his day with a nice bowl of ice-cream. He had a real sweet tooth and really appreciated any homemade treat. He has been laid to rest with his favorite chocolate chip cookie in his pocket.
Earl is survived by his wife, Pat Sharp; daughter Susan Gabel (Peter) of Farmington Hills, Michigan; son Kim Sharp (Sheri) of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter Debbie Bilby (Clay) of Santa Rosa, California; son Kevin Sharp (Rusty Brach) of Manchester, Michigan; step-son Rick Thornton (Deborah Simpson-Thornton) of Winter Haven, Florida; and step-son David Thornton (Cindy) of Winter Haven, Florida; stepdaughter Patrice Bobier (Bill).
Earl was preceded in death by First Wife Barbara Sharp nee Wickizer father Earl Sharp Sr and mother Mabel Sharp nee Lake; sister Margaret Sharp; granddaughter Tiffany Gabel.
Mr. Sharp also leaves his grandchildren, Robert, DA, Ben, Ryan, Grant, Chas, Brandon, Alex; step-grandchildren Jason, Meagan, Sandy, Baylee; great grandchildren Rhylin, Clayton, Eden, Eli; and step great grandchildren Tyler, Jenna, Taryn.
