Earl L. Tucker, 86, passed away on April 18, 2015 in Winter Haven, FL. He was born in Lombardville, IL on November 4, 1928 and moved to this area from Arlington, VA 36 years ago. Earl was a Lieutenant in the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C. He was a member of St. John’s Methodist Church, a Mason, and a member of the Association of Retired Police Officers of D.C. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Earl is survived by his wife, Joanne P. Tucker, daughter, Connie Perry (Russell), three grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held for the family at Ott Laughlin in Winter Haven. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.
