Faye Elizabeth Bowen, 81, was born Sept. 23, 1939, in Winter Haven, Florida, and entered into rest on Feb. 18, 2021, when she joined her late husband, Hilton Bowen, who recently passed away Nov. 22, 2020. Faye was a lifelong resident of the area. Some may remember her from working at the Amberglo Restaurant in Lake Alfred, and other local restaurants where she served all her customers with dedication and kindness.
Faye is survived by her loving children, Rita Burchfield, Mitchell & Dottie Booth, Wyman Booth, Blaine & Tammy Booth, and Timmy & Wendy Booth. She is also survived by many precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Faye was adored and is greatly missed by all her family including her siblings and many nieces and nephews who knew her as "Nanny Faye".
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Winter Haven.
