Fredrick A. Keyser, 95, passed away in Winter Haven on April 29, 2014 due to natural causes. He was born in Boston, MA on March 18, 1919, he came to Haines City, FL from Cape Cod, MA in 1992. He was a Senior Engineer Assistant for the Massachusetts Electric Company in Gardner, MA.
Mr. Keyser was a member and daily communicant of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winter Haven, FL. He served as an Army Signal Corp veteran of World War II and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Westminister, MA and the American Legion Post 8 in Winter Haven, FL.
Mr. Keyser was preceded in death by his first wife, Susan (nee Petrocelli); his second wife, Beatrice (nee Boardway-Franciose) and Grandson, Craig A. Woodley. He is survived by his daughter, Marsha A.Woodley, two grand children, Sharyl L. Fuhrer of Avon Lake, OH and Krista M. Woodley of Charlestown, MA, and a Great Grandson, P. Ryan Fuhrer of Avon Lake, OH.
Services will be held at St. Joseph Church Chapel in Winter Haven, FL at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 13, 2014. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
