Mr. Lathan was preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine Kriston. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jewel Lathan, his sons, Willis (Betty) Lathan and Gary (Christine) Lathan, daughters; Barbara Jean White, Beverly June Baxter, and Carol (Richard) Carter, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, and many other loved family members.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017, from 9 - 10 a.m.
A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. Both will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven, Florida.
