

Helen moved from Ohio to Florida 70 years ago. She was a devoted Christian who over the years attended First Church of God, Faith Baptist Church and First Baptist Church. Helen worked as a sectionizer at the Donald Duck Citrus Plant and in her free time she enjoyed crafting, especially making grandma and grandpa dolls.
Helen is predeceased by her husband of 53 years John W. Chesterman, son Richard P. Chesterman and grandson Chad Chesterman. She is survived by her son James E. Chesterman and wife Betty, daughter Martha J. May, brother Kenneth Wills, grandson Troy Chesterman and wife Tammie, grandson Ron Chesterman and wife Jamie, granddaughter Kimberly Shelton and husband Jeff and granddaughter-in-law Shona Chesterman. Helen also leaves behind 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren as well as a multitude of extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
A funeral service will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven on Monday. July 18, 2022 at 11:00am with a visitation prior from 10:00am to 11:00am. Following the funeral will be a graveside service at Lakeside Memorial Park in Winter Haven.
