Hubert served in the United States Army and later on worker as a carpenter and boilermaker. He was part of the VFW and the American Legion.
Hubert is survived by his sister Jane Ard King,of Lake Alfred, Florida; nephew Joey King, of Lake Alfred, Florida; niece Amanda King Pearce, of Winter Haven, Florida; great niece Ashlee King Morgan, of Auburndale, Florida; great niece Alyssa King, of Auburndale, Florida; great niece Heidi Bourque, of Winter Haven, Florida; and great nephew Jacob Bourque, of Winter Haven, Florida. Hubert leaves behind many cousins to cherish the fond memories of him.
Hubert was preceded in death by his dad Bennie Ard and mom Lois Draper Ard; brothers Roger Ard and Benny Ard.
