Illa Faye McNally, a long-time resident of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Lakeland Regional Health.
Faye was born June 14, 1941 in Steele, MO to T.L. Brasher and Leilia Alverta Brasher. She worked as a Bookkeeper and Office Manager for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband William Joseph Mcnally.
She is survived by her daughters Donna Faye Hart, Denice Roux, and Diania Mackay, her son Gregory Thomas McNally, and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Faye loved her family unconditionally and they brought true joy to her life. Her face would light up every time she saw her grandchildren or great grandchildren. Faye also loved animals, especially dogs. She was known to take in any stray that came her way. She once took in an injured squirrel, named her Millie, and nurtured her for years. Faye had a tender heart and often gave anything and everything she could to anyone or any creature in need.
Faye was of Cherokee Indian descent. Her stamina and will to survive is a true testament to her ancestry. Faye was a traditional woman who provided a warm and loving home to all who entered. She is loved and missed by all whose lives she touched.
