Iris O. Mathews, 86

Bartow- Iris O. Mathews, age 86, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018. She was born on Thursday, February 4, 1932 in Frostproof, FL the daughter of Charlie L. Price and Nellie Thomas Price. She was of the Baptist Faith. She worked as a Sectionizer at Bordo’s and also in Housekeeping with Scotty’s.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mathews was preceded in death by her husband Robert Mathews Sr. She is survived by her sons: Robert Mathews Jr, and Raymond Mathews, daughters: Brenda Mathews, Peggy Mills and Jean Mathews, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation is Monday, December 17, 2018 from 6-8pm with funeral services Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 10:00am, both at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven.
