

Jacqueline Munroe, age 87, of Winter Haven Fl, passed away peacefully on May 9th 2026. Born on May 4th 1939 to Harold Simonds Munroe Junior and Georgia Marguerite Roberts. Jacqueline lived a remarkable and colorful life filled with adventure, compassion, friendships, and love.
Jacqueline was known for her generous spirit and her ability to make lasting friendships wherever life led her. Those privileged enough to know her will remember her as a kind-hearted woman with a vibrant personality, an adventurous soul, and stories that could fill a lifetime.
Throughout her life, Jacqueline embraced many passions. She generously supported charitable causes close to her heart, piloted airplanes, operated a horse farm, wrote children’s books inspired by the animals at a sanctuary she dearly loved and supported. She was also a member of the Recovery Church with 50 years sobriety. She approached life fearlessly and fully navigating every chapter including seven marriages with humor, resilience, and determination.
Above all, Jacqueline had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved cats Frank and Beans who brought her endless companionship and joy.
Jacqueline leaves behind countless friends whose lives were enriched by her warmth, generosity, laughter, and unforgettable spirit. Her legacy will live on in many lives she touched, the animals she cared for, and the memory shared by those fortunate enough to have known her.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
