Polk City- John Jacob Busch Sr., age 70, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 of respiratory failure surrounded by his family. He was born March 29, 1943 in Wahalla, SC the son of George Bayliss Busch and Essie Mae Rochester. He served in the National Guard, was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Plant City, FL.
John was a dedicated husband, loving father and a man of God who pastored several churches and evangelized with a gospel tent. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Gail Mansfield Busch, his 4 children: Johnny, Steve, Jeff (Chrissy) and Shylin (Steve), brother Lloyd Busch, sister Barbara Jean Headley, 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
John enjoyed gardening, fishing, wrestling and all singing and writing Christian songs with his children.
Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8pm with funeral services Thursday at 1pm, both at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 645 West Central Aveue, Winter Haven, FL 33880
