My deepest condolences to Mrs. Carol and 4 beloved daughters. I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked with Dr Bergnes for 10 years. I thank him for trusting in my knowledge and also believing in all my nursing intuitions. I thank him for allowing me to run his office as I saw fit and allowing me the autonomy to make decisions on his behalf. Praise to him, who never let anyone suffer in pain of body, mind or soul. I can't promise I won't call him 'dude' when we meet again in a better place. RIP Dr Bergnes.

I WAS A PATIENT OF DR. BERGNES. HE WAS THE ONE WHO DIAGNOSED MY CANCER SOME TWENTY PLUS YEARS AGO.
HE TREATED MY CANCER VERY AGGRESSIVELY AND I HAVEN'T HAD A RE-OCCURANCE . DR. BERGNES WAS MY FAVORITE DOCTOR OF ALL TIMES. HE WAS A VERY BRILLIANT AND COMPASSIONATE DOCTOR. HE WAS ALWAYS THERE WHEN I NEEDED HIM. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM WITH THE FONDEST MEMORIES. HE WAS ONE OF A KIND AND AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER LIKE HIM.

I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW AND LOVED HIM. I AM KEEPING YOUR FAMILY IN MY PRAYERS. MAY GOD COMFORT EACH ONE OF YOU.

Dr. Bergnes was the first physician I had the privilege of working for, when I graduated from nursing school. He cared deeply for his cancer patients; gave each one his cell number and encouraged them to call at any time. He was adamant that his patients would be pain-free. I recall on a Monday morning that he ask that a particular pharmacy be called and ask for the pharmacist. He spoke boldly and with great authority , expressing that "none of my patients will go without their pain med and that includes the weekend." Sadly, my own mother was diagnosed with cancer. When I phoned him and asked would he treat my momma's condition, he immediately responded, Yes!" It's amazing how God had that all lined up. Dr. Bergnes will always have a special place in my heart. Praying for his family. 💝
