Lois Jean Gatlin, age 84, of Eagle Lake, Florida entered into rest on Saturday, March 13, 2021. Lois was born June 18, 1936 in Fayetteville, Georgia, daughter of Carl and Bessie Gray.

Lois married Bobby Gatlin February 28th, 1954. Together they started their company, Gatlin Inc. in 1968. Mrs. Gatlin attended Winter Haven Worship Center, and took pride in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Bessie Gray; husband, Bobby Gatlin; son, Gary Lynn Gatlin; and brother, Raymond Gray. She is survived by her daughters, Connie Susan Gatlin, and Patti Carol Orta (Elihu); her sister, Betty Carol Worley, grandchildren, Robert Gatlin (Crystal), Miranda Gatlin (Bracken), Tabitha Coler (Cory), and Nicki D'Souza (Eddie); great grandchildren, Tucker Gatlin, Walker Gatlin, Braxton Smith, Giana Smith, Gemma Smith, Addison Coler, Ashlyn Coler, and Leah D'Souza, as well as many nieces and nephews, neighbors, and friends.

A visitation for Lois will be held Friday, March 19, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 645 W Central Ave, Winter Haven, Florida 33880 with a funeral service to follow. Interment will take place at Eagle Lake Church of Christ Cemetery.

I thank God that I had mama for almost 61 years. We loved to get under each other's skin, especially during the Presidential election. I didn't care at all for her choice. This last election wore both of us out. But I loved my mother and I would of given whatever if she could of lived. But God needed her more then we did. Love Connie
