Sebring – Mrs. Marvel L. Shirley, age 76, of Sebring, FL passed away on Friday, August 27, 2010 at Palms of Sebring. She was born on August 15, 1934 in Highlands Park, MI to the late Bruce Walter and Ethel Marie (Lowe) Daines. She was a Medical Transcriptionist. She was a member of the Tanglewood Community Church.

Mrs. Shirley was preceded in death by her sister Eleanor and daughter Joy A.VerWiebe.

She is survived by her husband, of 22 years, George Fred Shirley, son Jay Alan VerWiebe of Pontiac, MI and granddaughter Meaghan VerWiebe, daughter Jill McCarthy of Genesee, MI and grandson Christopher G. McCarthy and granddaughter Sarah Rose McCarthy, daughter Rebecca S. Mrljak of Farmington, MI and grandson Joshua D. Johnston, granddaughters Kelly A. Neuman, Aimee E. Neuman and Emile A. Neuman, and brother Robert Gibeau-Daines of Fallbrook,CA .

Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 20. 2010 at 11:00 am at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513. Phone 352 793 7740
