Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband Clinton E. Tolbert, father Samuel P. Adams, mother Shaddie I. Hill Adams, sister Lois Sowell, brother Corbett Adams and sister Iris Varner. She leaves behind her daughter Janet Shew and husband Richard Shew of Winter Haven, FL, son Clinton E. Tolbert Jr. of Winter Haven, FL and grandchildren James S. Pamplin Jr. of Ohio, Rex D. Lenoir of Jacksonville, FL, Christopher B. Lenoir of Winter Haven, FL, Alexis A. Shew of Winter Haven, FL, Melissa Tolbert of Winter Haven, FL, Jessica Tolbert of Utah and Clinton A. Tolbert of St. Pete, FL.

A visitation will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven, Florida on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at Homeland Cemetery in Homeland, Florida on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
