Pamela Sue Tallent Blackburn

Pamela Sue Tallent-Blackburn, 79, passed away peacefully September 30, 2025 at her home in Eagle Lake, Florida. Born June 14, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Pam graduated from Norwood High School and had a career in modeling and was a beauty pageant winner, Miss Norwood, 1965.

Pam was a city councilwoman and mayor of the City of Eagle Lake as well as having been elected president of the Ridge League of Cities in 1989. She was a secretary at the former Estech company and then Administrative Assistant for the Winter Haven Board of Realtors with over 30 years in the organization she was promoted to CEO to manage, direct, and lead the organization in the transition to renaming the organization the East Polk County Association of Realtors.

Pam was preceded in death by brothers Larry Tallent, Ronnie Tallent, Billy Tallent, nephew Nick Tallent and sister-in-law Cheryl Roussell.

She is survived by her husband of almost 30 years, Jesse Blackburn, sons Philip Siefke, Rob Siefke (Lisa), daughters Traci Suggs Siefke, step-daughters Angie Riley(Steve), Tracy Blackburn, brother John Mark Tallent (Karen Rudolph), and sister, Pat Reass (Rick). Grandchildren Taylor, Logan, Ethan, Madison, Jessica, Denise (Chris), Tori, Mikel, Tiera and Derik. Great Grandchildren, Joseph, Loryan, Shayla and Teagan. Brothers-in-law Creig Blackburn and Brian Blackburn. Sisters-in-law Melody Wisby, Debbie Newberry, Dawn Reiter. Nephews Michael Tallent, Harley Tallent, Scott Tallent, Steve Tallent. Nieces Kelly Kathman Salsamendi, Kristy Kathman Turner Humenuk, Karin Tallent Richardson, Jenny Tallent Gossman, Rhonda Tallent, Kristin Reass Schmid, Lori Reass Houmard. Special friends, Kimberly Goodwin, Barbara Hennel Robertson, Sharon Adams Hofmann and Rebecca Heaberlin Stone.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 21, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. First Presbyterian Church 637 – 6th St, NW, Winter Haven, FL 33881. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Pam’s memory to: Girls Inc of Winter Haven, “inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold”
