Winter Haven – Pauline Evelyn Scar, age 100, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010 at Good Shepherd Hospice. She was born on September 18, 1909 in Dayton, OH to the late Joseph and Anna (Svellinger) Ball. She was a homemaker and member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. She was very artistic in doing oil paintings, ceramics, needle point, arts and crafts.
Mrs. Scar was preceded in death by her husband Matt in 1996. She is survived by her niece Susan Arthur of Winter Haven, great nieces Kim Warren (Ed) of Port Charlotte, FL and Denise Richardson of Winter Haven, and nephew Paul Stein (Dorothy) of Dayton, OH.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 9:00 am at St. Matthew Catholic Church with Visitation beginning at 8:00 am.
