WINTER HAVEN - Mr. Quinton N. Bridges, age 78, of Winter Haven, FL, passed away January 16, 2012 due to heart failure.
He was born October 12, 1933 in Plant City, FL, the son of Linton Bridges and Mattie Pearl Fowler Bridges. He was a technician with Orange-Co, a member of the Blessed Assurance Temple in Bartow, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bridges was preceded in death by his son Brian Bridges. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bobbie N. Bridges, daughter Lisa Sheets (Mark Schulz) Winter Haven, FL, daughter in law Cindy Bridges, Polk City, FL, brother Johnny Bridges, Suwannee, FL, sisters Grace Coates, Eagle Lake, FL, Bertha Calhoun, Lakeland, FL, and Louise Scott, TN, and grandchildren Shaun Bridges and Zaina Sheets.
Visitation is Friday from 6-8pm at Ott-Laughlin, Winter Haven
Funeral services Saturday at 11am at the funeral home chapel.
