Becky was the beloved wife of Steve Reeves, with whom she shared 53 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on family, love, and devotion. She was a proud and loving mother to Steven Reeves Jr. and Kyle Reeves, and she carried the memory of her son Shawn Reeves, who preceded her in death, close to her heart. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Lorraine Robinson. Becky was a cherished “Grammie” to her grandchildren, Jackson (6) and Kelsey (3), who brought immense joy and pride to her life.
Throughout her career, Becky dedicated many years of service to the Polk County School Board. She was known for being dependable, steady, and deeply committed to helping others—qualities that defined both her professional life and the way she cared for her family.
Becky found happiness in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved traveling and made many trips to the beach over the years. Some of her most treasured memories were traveling with her aunts, Barbara and Frances, and her great-grandmother, Edna. One particularly special memory was celebrating her 30th wedding anniversary with Steve on a family trip to Hawaii.
She also had a passion for antiques and unique trinkets, often collecting items that carried history and character—much like Becky herself. In her home, love was often expressed through food. Her peanut butter fudge was a favorite among family and friends, and her comforting meals, especially chicken and rice, became lasting symbols of her care and warmth.
Above all else, Becky cherished her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Raising her boys and spending time with her grandchildren were the greatest joys of her life, and she created countless memories that her family will carry with them always.
Becky will be remembered for her quiet strength, her loving heart, and the deep devotion she showed to those closest to her. She will be dearly missed and forever loved by her family and all who knew her.
