Winter Haven – Rev. Richard L. Brown, Sr., age 74, of Winter Haven, FL passed away December 30, 2010 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, FL due to congestive heart failure. He was born April 22, 1936 in Frederick, MD. He was a pastor, paramedic, EMS chaplain, volunteer fire chief of janphyl village, and a US Marine Corp veteran serving during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, of 42 years, Sally Brown, one son, four daughters, three brothers, three sisters, 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral Services are Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Auburndale, FL
