Richard Clayton Owens

Richard Clayton Owens, 69, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on January 25, 2022. He was born on November 25, 1952 in Hartford, Alabama. He worked as the manager for Monroe Tire Service, formerly McGee Tires.

Rick was happiest surrounded by his wife, daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, and beloved dog, Baxter, whether at the campground, watching his granddaughter cheer, supporting his grandson at the baseball field, at home tending to his orchids, or brewing homemade beer.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Troy Owens. He is survived by his wife, Jodi Owens, mother, Margaret Owens, daughter, Jennifer Boyce (Brian) of Winter Haven, Florida, grandchildren, Owen Boyce of Jefferson City, Tennessee and Ella Boyce of Winter Haven, Florida, sisters; Gina Kady, Rhonda Owens, Pat McElroy, and Lillian Plante, and a brother, Jeff Owens.

To honor his memory and his love for craft beer, the family would like to visit with their friends and family at a drop-in celebration of life gathering Saturday, January 29th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Union Tap Room located at 245 West Central Avenue, Suite 102, Winter Haven, FL.
