Robert L. Patton passed Monday, November 12, 2012 at Winter Haven Hospital due to cancer. Robert was born in Winter Haven Aug. 23, 1949, a lifelong resident, and a graduated from Winter Haven High School. He was a US Air Force veteran and worked as a security supervisor for Publix.

He was preceded in death by father Clarence and brother Michael. He is survived by his wife Mary, Daughters Mechelle Mayes of Phelan, Ca., Pamela Meares, Winter Haven, Mother, Elizabeth Patton, Winter Haven, Sister Sandra Patton, Bartow, Granddaughter Alana Meares and Grandson Aldan Meares both of Winter Haven

Memorial Service will be Friday, 11am at New Hope Church, 651 Carl Floyd Road, Winter Haven
