

Robert “Bob” W. Williams, 70, of Winter Haven passed away on September 25, 2016. He was born in Salem, Massachusetts on May 23, 1946. He moved to this area from Newton, New Hampshire 36 years ago. Mr. Williams was a truck driver. He was also a volunteer firefighter for Polk County at Fire Rescue Station 580 and a volunteer EMT and firefighter in Newton, New Hampshire.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Wesley Williams and Marion L. Williams, and his son, Robert “Robbie” W. Williams Jr. He is survived by his wife, Lauren Williams of Winter Haven, Florida, children, Jimmy (Jamie) Williams of Polk City, Florida and Christine (Robert) Tanksley, grandchildren, Cory (Bonnie) Williams, Cara Williams, Caitlin Williams, Jordan (Brandon) Bithel, and Brenna Kemp, great grandchildren, Sofia Bithel, Emily Williams, and Yomar Benitez, brother, John Williams, brother-in-law, James Cross, sister-in-law, Pat Carrier, his uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 2nd, at 2 pm at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven, Florida. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, Florida.
