WINTER HAVEN- Ronald Lee Parrish, 69, passed away February 12, 2015, due to cancer. He was born September 6, 1945, in Springfield, IL the son of Harrison Sylvester Parrish, Jr. and Velma Louise Spoon Parrish. He was a truck driver, US Navy veteran and member of St. John's United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary, Richard and Steve; sister, Carolyn Rutherford; and son, Tommy H. Parrish. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Zelma Parrish; daughter, Barbara Ann (Scott) Harris; granddaughters, Pam (Michael McLean) Harris, Brandy (Troy) Schlotterback, Kristen Harris, Victoria Parrish, Alyssa (Jeffery) Gagnon and Amanda Cochran; brothers, Jackie (Sandy) Parrish and David (Marilee) Parrish; and sisters, Dolores (Willie) Haynes and Patty (TJ) Bruce; daughter-in-law, Cindy Parrish; and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation is Wednesday, February 18, 2015, from 10-11AM with funeral services at 11AM, both at St. John's United Methodist Church.
