

A talented seamstress, Sally enjoyed spending time sewing clothes for her family and creating beautiful quilts. Her love of sewing was closely matched by her love of cooking. As the proud owner of several restaurants, she prepared delicious meals and created a welcoming space for all who walked through her door.
Sally was also a dedicated sports fan, especially watching the Atlanta Braves. Her excitement for the team was contagious, and she enjoyed sharing the game with those around her.
Her legacy will live on through the memories of her family, her cooking, and the many quilts and projects she lovingly made. Sally will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sally is survived by her children Marla Homan (Gene), Gleeta Stieneker (Ricky), Joey Pittman (Rita),Preston Pittman (Joyce) and Missy Miller; 21 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her husbands Russell Standridge and Harold Shaw, daughter Janet D. Pittman, siblings Minnie Logan and Preston Lott, as well as three grandchildren, Matthew Pittman, Denny Hart, and Kinslee Pittman.
A visitation for Sally will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home 645 W Central Ave, Winter Haven, Florida 33880 with a funeral service following at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 8th. Sally will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland, Florida.
