Suzanne dedicated over 25 years of her professional life to dental hygiene. She achieved her Registered Dental Hygienist certification after passing the Florida Board Exam and graduated with a 4.0 Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Passionate about education and outreach, she spent time visiting schools and health fairs, sharing her knowledge and encouraging others to prioritize their health. In 2010, she co-founded CASE Processing Services with her close friend and partner, Clayton Allen, building a successful business through dedication and teamwork.
Her life was filled with remarkable experiences and accomplishments. Suzanne qualified for the gymnastics Olympics and was even hired by the Barnum & Bailey Circus as a flying trapeze artist—testaments to her adventurous spirit and determination. She was also an active member of the Polk County Dental Association and participated in the American Cancer Society’s New Directions group.
Outside of her career, Suzanne found joy in a wide variety of activities. As a young woman, she cherished sailing with her father aboard “Patience” in Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. She enjoyed being a Girl Scout, cheerleading, roller skating, and both snow and water skiing. Throughout her life, she loved helping others, reading, traveling, visiting museums, solving puzzles, sewing, cooking, and entertaining. She found peace in watching sunrises and sunsets and took great comfort in observing the beauty of God’s creation in nature.
Suzanne was a devoted member of Grace Lutheran Church in Winter Haven, Florida, where her faith remained an important part of her life.
She is survived by her loving family: her daughter, Charli Ann McNeal and her husband, Kermit S. McNeal; granddaughters, Tyler A. McNeal and Kristin L. McNeal; and great-grandson, Oakley L.V. McNeal. She is also survived by her brothers, Ronald Ellett and his wife, Debbie, and Joe Ellett; her niece, Leah Carrero; her great-niece, Ashley Ellett; and great-nieces and nephews, Sophia, Ysabel, Coco, and Levi.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Maureen Haridson and Wellmon T. Ellett; her beloved golden retriever, Kizzy, her constant and cherished companion; and her close friend, partner, and best friend, Clayton Allen.
