Eagle Lake – Wayne Lloyd Wilcox, age 65, died Thursday, February 7, 2013 due to cancer. He was born May 10, 1947 in Providence, RI the son of Glenn Wilcox and Mae (Handy) Wilcox. He worked for TECO in Field Operations. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Winter Haven, the Lakeland Rifle and Pistol Club, the NRA and the Winter Haven Skeet and Trap Club. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp.
Mr. Wilcox is survived by his wife: Linda Wilcox of Eagle Lake and brother: Glenn Wilcox, Jr. of St. Simons, GA.
Memorial Services are Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven.
