Yvonne Bates of Winter Have, Florida passed away on October 5, 2015. She was born on November 2, 1965 in Wilmette, Illinois and moved to this area fifteen years ago. She was a preschool teacher and a member of Hope Presbyterian Church. Yvonne was a breast cancer survivor. She was dearly loved by her son, Joey.
Yvonne is survived by her husband, Wayne, her son, Joey, her parents, Tom and Carolyn Schaefer of Chicago, Illinois, and her brothers and sisters, Shelia Schaefer, Tommy Schaefer, Odie Schaefer, all of Chicago, Illinois, and Audrey Lind of Jacksonville, Florida.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th, at 4 pm at Hope Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of Flowers a Go Fund Me account has been set up in memory of Yvonne.
All donations will go to her son Joey Bates for his education as well as her hospital expenses.
