Zoraida was born on September 23, 1955. She was a beacon of warmth, known for treating everyone she met as if they were her own child. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, music, and the sound of her voice—whether she was chatting for hours on the phone, dancing to her favorite salsa tunes, or sharing stories from the heart. She was a proud salsera whose joy was contagious, and her passion for dancing brought light to every room she entered.
Family was at the center of Zoraida’s world. A devoted grandmother, she cherished every moment with her grandchildren, capturing those memories through her ever-ready camera. A true paparazzi, she never missed a chance to snap a picture, filling countless albums that now serve as treasured keepsakes of a life well lived.
Zoraida’s smile came easy, and her laughter even easier. Whether she was browsing the aisles during a shopping trip or getting her hands dirty in a ceramics class, she found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. Her creativity and love for crafting albums gave her family tangible memories they will hold onto forever.
She was more than a mother, grandmother, or friend—she was the heart of her family, the keeper of stories, and a spirit that brought people together.
She is survived by her husband, Pedro; her sister, Silvia; and her children, grandchildren, and a great grandchild. Zoraida leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and unwavering family devotion. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will continue to dance in our hearts forever.”
