David Ronald Lunch, age 80 of Orlando, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020. He was born October 30, 1939 in Vallejo, California. He retired from serving in the Navy after 26 years and retired from the US Government after 24 years of service.
David was a devoted family man. His compassion and charity were always present. A loving husband and father, a caring man to those around him, he embodied everything good about humanity. From the little surprises he gave to his wife, the unwavering devotion he showed his children, and the donations he made to those in need, David always reminded everyone of his heart, compassion, and love for those around him.
As an Aerographer’s Mate in the Navy, David enjoyed everything about the weather. He made sure everybody knew the types of clouds in the sky. For many years, he was a reader at the 5:00pm mass at Sts. Peter & Paul.
He also enjoyed word games and puzzles, golf with the family, ham radio, a good baseball game, and his San Francisco 49’ers.
David will be sorely missed and loved by the ones he touched. He will be remembered every day. May we always honor his beloved memory, his quiet strength, and his sweet smile. He was one-of-a-kind; he will never be replaced.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth; children; Lynanne, Kimberly and David; sister, Darlene Woodbury; brothers, Richard and Robert Lunch; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 A.M. Monday, March 2nd at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 5300 Old Howell Branch Rd. Winter Park, Florida 32792. Burial will take place in Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Goldenrod Chapel 7520 Aloma Ave. Winter Park, Florida 32792. 407-671-5091.
