Dear Family of Alfredo - we are so sorry and sad about the death of Alfredo.  Because we are new residents in Windsor East, we have only visited a couple of times with Alfredo, but oh my what a very nice and kind man. To my favorite uncle and aunty, Tio I will always remember you for the great man and role model you were to me. I will never forget the times we have had at your house swimming and barbequeing memories I've  definintly have cherished. We will miss you!

I remember the days When my grandfather would boil me eggs and hot dogs, back when I was in elementary school. I remember when I gave him a thick branch from our back yard and he cut all the sides off it to make it the perfect back rubber, I remember when we would wait outside for my school bus and step on the little seeds and see who could step on the most, and I will never forget playing dominoes with him in the basement, when he would beat me I would run upstairs upset, but after a while I would go back down to him waiting for me, he knew I couldn't resist playing again, but when he would let me beat him I would sit up with pride. There are many memories I have with my grandfather, and many more that I hoped to have, I hoped he would see me graduate high school, I hoped he would see the little boy he played dominoes with become a man, but most of all I hoped to say I love you one last time. I struggle to hold my tears back as I write this very message, because I hope one day I can become a grandfather, and maybe if I'm lucky enough I can make those memories with my grandson.

I learned more about life sitting with my abuelo on Sunday afternoons, than I did anywhere else in my life.
