In lieu of flowers, our mother and family’s wish is for donations be made, in the name of Barbara J. McCabe, to the Mickel-Begg Memorial Scholarship Fund (All funds collected are strictly set aside for the Mickel-Begg Memorial Scholarship Fund and no other purpose. Barbara McCabe passed on April 15th, 2017. She lost her husband, John “Jack” McCabe, 28 years ago. A very strong and loving mother of 5 children, grandmother of 12 (bio) and 6 stepchildren, great grandmother of 4 children and sister to 3 loving sisters. Our mother treated everyone equal and loved us all with everything she had! When asked what her hobbies were we paused and answered her family! She felt so blessed to have her family so close to her.

Her viewing will be between 5 – 7PM on Thursday, April 20th and service at 11AM on Friday, April 21st both at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home Goldenrod. A short blessing will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park following the service. Reception for friends And family will be at 12:30 at the Winter Park Community Center located at 721 W New England Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789.
