

BARBARA M. PAROW, 83, a resident of Clearwater, Fl and W. Hyannisport, Ma, died on Sunday, April 10, 2011, in her home in Longwood, Fl. She was the beloved wife of George V. Parow with whom she was about to celebrate 59 years of marriage.
Barbara was born in Chelsea, and she was the daughter of the late Andrew P. and Anna T. (Callahan) Murphy.
She was raised in Chelsea and attended St. Rose School where she graduated as Valedictorian of her class in 1945.
Barbara had a strong passion for bargain hunting and she enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. She was a loving wife and dear mother and worked as a Business Rep for New England Telephone. Barbara thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, George, she is survived by three daughters and one son: Trish Deer and her husband, Bob, of Geneva, Fl.; Sheila Parow of Altamonte Springs, Fl.; Judi Parow of Wesley Chapel, Fl.; and Dan Parow and his wife ,Judy, of Titusville, Fl; her brother, Kevin G. Murphy and his wife ,Virginia, of Chelsea, Ma; her three sisters: Patsy Doherty of Clearwater, Fl.; Kathleen Paris of Dedham, Ma.; and Eileen Mullaney of Greenland, NH; She was beloved "Nana" of eight grandchildren and two beautiful great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Parow was the sister of the late Sheila Zecha, Buddy, Edward and Brendan Murphy.
There will be a Memorial Mass at 8 am Saturday, April 16th at Annunciation Catholic Church, 1020 Montgomery Rd., Alt. Springs, Fl, 32714.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Massachusetts at Our Lady of Victory Church in Centerville, Ma. at 11:30 am Saturday, April 30th
