Even though we were miles apart, I thought of you often Aunt Carmen. I loved to come visit when I was in Florida. I have so many sweet childhood memories about you, Uncle Joe, Peachy, Joey and Paul. I know you are dancing with Jesus and holding Paul in your arms again. Your smile was beautiful and your spirit was sweet. You will be missed hear on earth, however the good news is we will be together again in eternity. I look forward to that. Love, Sandy,

I’ve known Joey my whole life, and in turn got to know his family. When I started looking for a house I went to an open house in Carmen and Joe’s neighborhood. My mom and I stopped by to say hi, and as soon as Carmen found out I was house shopping she quickly told me her neighbor was selling. She eagerly walked us down the street and knocked on the door and walked us on into the house and gave us a tour herself.

The past three years being their neighbor has been a blessing. Last year Carmen and Joe Sr were able to to join my family for a wonderful Easter Dinner.
