Caroline Kalcic se Barone, age 95, of Brevard, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. Caroline Kalcic Barone was the daughter of Croatian immigrants, Michael and Caroline Kalcic (deceased) She was preceded in death by her loving husband Armand Barone of 57 years, 6 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by her children, Denise McCarthy, Debbie Reid, Darla Haupt and Armand (“Tres”) Barone; children-in-laws: Kevin McCarthy, Richard Reid, Ron Haupt and Sun Barone; Surviving grandchildren: Amanda McAlpin, Danny McCarthy, Nicole Osayande, Michael Reid, Nina Helmrich Brittany Haupt, Cassie Barone, Allie Barone and Lanie Barone; the spouses of her grandchildren, she also considered them her own: Justin McAlpin, Rachel McCarthy, Solomon Osayande, Hilary Reid and Bo Helmrich. She was the great Gramma of Claire and Jax Mc Alpin, Ansley and Amelia McCarthy, Cameron, Zane, Ivie and Emrie Osayande, Addie Kate and Lizzie Reid and Niall and Briggs Helmrich. She loved Jesus, all of her family and being in the kitchen. She is a picture of the Proverbs 31 woman.
